By implementing programs that provide immediate critical care for patients, we have been successful at reducing complication and mortality rates, lowering length of stay, and improving patient & family satisfaction while maintaining operational efficiency for the hospital.

Founded in 2005 by a dedicated group of physicians, Intensive Care Consortium (ICC Healthcare) began with a singular mission: to redefine the quality of care for the most vulnerable patients in the ICU.
What started as a physician-led initiative grew into a powerful partnership. In 2011, we joined forces with HCA Healthcare, combining clinical expertise with a national network of resources. By 2017, this partnership evolved into a full merger, establishing ICC as HCA Healthcare’s premier critical care solution. Through physician leadership and comprehensive clinical pathways, we build the multidisciplinary teams necessary to streamline care; today, as ICC Healthcare Intensivist Group, we remain steadfast in our founding commitment to the care and improvement of human life.
Our network of support
HCA Healthcare Intensivist Services provides critical care services to more than 74 programs in 14 states across 11 of HCA Healthcare’s divisions . Our group employs over 400 Intensivists and 350 Advanced Practice Providers who care for an average of 1,100 patients per day.
